Day 2

Thimphu (Culture & Mindfulness)

Morning

Your day starts with a serene meditation session led by a local monk, followed by a visit to the monumental Buddha Dordenma to take in the vast panoramic views of the valley.

Afternoon

Exploring Bhutanese craftsmanship with visits to the Folk Heritage Museum and the vibrant Handicrafts Emporium.

You can take a peaceful stroll along the Wang Chhu riverside, mindfully turning the rows of prayer wheels.

Day 3

Thimphu → Punakha (Valleys of Harmony)

Morning

The morning is marked by a scenic and exhilarating drive from Thimphu to Punakha, crossing the Dochula Pass, which offers breathtaking Himalayan views and is adorned with 108 memorial chortens.

A gentle hike through picturesque rice fields leads you to the sacred Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Fertility Temple.

Day 4

Punakha (Nature & Calm)

Morning

The morning begins with an invigorating walk across Bhutan’s longest suspension bridge, a structure that offers stunning views of the river.

Punakha Suspension Bridge

The bridge is a pedestrian bridge that crosses over the Po Chhu River in Punakha, is made of steel cables and wooden planks and is suspended high above the river below, is approximately 160m long and 1.2 m wide.

Afternoon

The afternoon presents an optional opportunity for mild adventure with rafting on the Pho Chhu river, followed by a relaxing picnic lunch enjoyed on the quiet riverbanks.

The evening concludes with a peaceful sunset meditation session conducted at a serene, quiet hillside nunnery.

Day 5

Punakha → Gangtey & Phobjikha (Valley of Cranes)

The morning is spent journeying further into the Himalayas toward the high-altitude Phobjikha Valley.

Day 6

Phobjikha (Immersion in Silence)

Morning

Day 8

Paro (Culmination at Tiger’s Nest)

Morning

The final day’s journey begins in the early morning with the sacred and essential hike to the legendary Taktsang Monastery, or Tiger’s Nest, a truly awe-inspiring culmination of the spiritual journey.

This sacred monastery clings to a cliff 900 meters above the Paro valley. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche flew here on the back of a tigress in the 8th century.

Afternoon

Spent soaking in the views of cliffside temples and forests adorned with countless prayer flags before descending.

Evening

The evening concludes the "Serenity Journey" with a special farewell dinner, complete with Bhutanese cultural dance and music.
